It's not so much that I hate religion.  It's that I hate people for whom religion is their only defining characteristic, who identify as Buddhist or Christian or Wiccan before they identify as people.  Because regardless of whether we believe in Allah or Shiva or the frickin' Flying Spaghetti Monster, we're all people ( Read more... )

I ran over a bird today driving home...  It was really awful...  It just flew out in the middle of the road and I just barely noticed it before...  Apparently hollow bones crunch really loudly when shattered.  And the car just kept going, like nothing had happened...

Ugh.  Maybe I'm thinking about this too much.
